Aki Pargaliti

Aki began her ballet journey at the age of four, training under the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus and successfully completing her Elementary, Intermediate, and Advanced 2 examinations. She later pursued further studies at the London Studio Centre and Rambert Ballet School in England.
In 2000, she was honoured with the Akiko Tachibana Ballet Scholarship. Her professional dance career in Japan included performances as a principal and soloist in major classical works such as Sleeping Beauty, Don Quixote, Coppélia, Le Corsaire, Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, La Bayadère, Paquita, and Giselle. She also made notable television appearances, including a flexibility challenge on “Tokoro-san no Megaten” and a feature exploring why ballet dancers don’t get dizzy.
Her versatility extended into contemporary ballet. After being selected through national auditions, she performed in productions such as Carnival of Animals and Mozart Piano Concerto with the Japanese Ballet Association.
As a teacher, Aki has worked with students from age three to adult at Miyaki Ballet Studio in Tokyo. While living in Adelaide, she taught local children ballet in Japanese through private group classes. She later continued teaching in Japan at various schools, including those following RAD and BC syllabus. Since returning to Adelaide, Aki has been an integral part of Adelaide Ballet from its early development.
Anna Ksenyk

Anna Ksenyk is a Ukrainian ballerina trained in the Vaganova method, a graduate of the Kyiv State Ballet School and holder of a Master’s degree in Choreography from Kyiv University of Culture.
She has performed on major stages across Ukraine, Russia, and Europe, including the National Opera of Ukraine, Mikhailovsky Theatre, and Hermitage Theatre.
She danced for three seasons with the Mikhailovsky Theatre in Saint Petersburg, performing in classical productions including Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker, Giselle, Don Quixote and many more.
Her international career includes tours in Japan, China, and across Europe as a soloist with the International Festival Ballet and National Opera House of Ukraine, where she performed lead and corps de ballet roles in Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker, and Coppelia.
Anna is a prizewinner and finalist of international ballet competitions in Kyiv and Berlin. Notably, she secured the second prize at the “Grand Prix Kyiv” in 2019 and the first prize in 2020.
She has worked under the artistic direction of world-renowned ballet masters including Vladimir Malakhov, Nataliia Lazebnikova( National Opera House of Ukraine) and Natalia Sveshnikova (Mariinsky Theatre).
Elia Noon (Emerging Artist)

Elia is an emerging talent in dance. She started ballet when she was 6 years old as a hobby and this has developed into a passion. She has classes at Terry Simpson Studios and is also under the tutelage of Sarah Humeniuk.
Elia was a finalist at the 2023 Australian Classical Grand Prix and the bronze medal in both classical and contemporary dance at the 2023 Asian Ballet Competition. She completed the Royal Academy of Dance Advanced 1 exam with High Distinction and has attained her Certificate IV in Dance.
Elia looks forward to dancing for her home state for many years to come.
Imogen Walters

Imogen Walters is a classically trained dancer who graduated from the renowned Vaganova Ballet Academy of Russian Ballet in St. Petersburg, Russia. After completing her studies, Imogen worked for the Mikhailovsky Theatre in St. Petersburg, Russia, and later at the Ballett am Rhein in Düsseldorf, Germany. Imogen has officially joined Adelaide Ballet as a company dancer.
Jackeline Valente

Jackeline graduated in Classical Ballet from the Escola de Bailado Municipal de Santos and has experience in techniques from Bolshoi, the Royal Academy of Dance, Vaganova and contemporary dance.
She has danced with Cia Paulista de Dança, Ballet Del Centro Del Conocimiento in Argentina, and Ballet da Cidade de Santos. In her repertoire, she has performed as a principal dancer and soloist in major ballets such as La Esmeralda, Le Corsaire and Sleeping Beauty.
In addition to her performance experience, she won many awards in competitions like Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) 1st place, Joinville Dance Festival awarded multiple times, the International Dance Festival of Goiás first place and best dancer, finalist at Tanzolymp Competition in Germany and won a gold medal at the Valentina Kozlova International Ballet Competition (VKIBC) Latin America and finalist at the main competition in New York.
As a dancer and teacher, she has led workshops and attended classes in Brazil, Argentina, the United States, Germany, and France.
Justine Marcov

Justine was born in South Africa, where she began her ballet journey at age 4 with Sandra Carstens, before moving to Perth Western Australia in 2011. She trained with Nathan Coppen at the West Australian School of Dance, as well as with RAD teacher and examiner Suzanne Arrigo. In 2020 Justine moved to Sydney to train at the Tanya Pearson Academy under the tutelage of Lucinda Dunn OAM.
In 2021, Justine was accepted into Houston Ballet Academy’s Professional Division, where she completed her training. Whilst training with Houston Ballet Academy, Justine performed with Houston Ballet in Stanton Welch’s The Nutcracker, Sylvia, and the world premiere Plumshuga: The Rise of Lauren Anderson. In 2023, Justine was chosen by international choreographer Cathy Marston to dance the role of Young Elma in Houston Ballet’s world premiere of Summer and Smoke.
Justine is thrilled to be dancing back home in beautiful Australia with Adelaide Ballet. “I feel privileged to be able to share my passion and the art of ballet with the audiences of Australia. Journey with me and share in the emotions of the stories as they unfold and come to life on the stage.”
