Associate Program
For dancers aged 15–17 years | By Audition Only
The Adelaide Ballet Associate Program offers a rare opportunity for young dancers to experience the discipline, artistry and inspiration of professional ballet company training, right here in South Australia.
Associates train alongside Adelaide Ballet company artists, gaining invaluable insight into a professional environment's standards, focus and creative energy.
This program allows Associates to attend one to three classes per week, training alongside Adelaide Ballet company dancers under the guidance of our Artistic Team and guest coaches.
All participants must continue training with their current ballet schools. The Associate Program is intended to complement, not replace, their existing schedule, strengthening classical technique while expanding artistic awareness and performance experience.

The Associate Program reflects Adelaide Ballet’s ongoing commitment to nurturing South Australia’s next generation of talent.
By working closely with local ballet schools, we aim to strengthen classical training across the state and offer young dancers access to professional experiences that inspire excellence.
Some Associates may go on to dance professionally with Adelaide Ballet or other companies worldwide. Others will carry this experience into their pre-professional training, equipped with the discipline, artistry and resilience that define authentic dancers.
Whatever their path, this program is designed to ignite ambition and celebrate potential.
Weekly Schedule
All classes are held at Adelaide Ballet Space, 1 Fisher Street, Tusmore studio.
