Murray Whispers is a mesmerising new work produced by Adelaide Ballet, inspired by the iconic Murray River's rich history and ever-changing rhythms. The production brings to life the river's deep cultural significance, the stories of the surrounding nature, and the whispers of its flowing waters. Through breathtaking choreography by Rejane Garcia and Sarah Humeniuk, and a stunning original score by Ashley Hribar, Murray Whispers explores themes of connection, resilience, and transformation, offering audiences a profoundly moving and visually captivating experience.

Step into the dreamy world of The Nutcracker Dreams in this 20-minute performance, where favourite moments are brought to life in a whimsical retelling. Afterwards, children (5-10) are invited to join a fun, creative dance workshop to reimagine the story through dance, storytelling and creativity, becoming part of the magic themselves! By blending performance and participation, The Nutcracker Dreams encourages children to engage with storytelling in an imaginative, active way. At the same time, families enjoy a high-quality cultural experience that is both accessible and memorable. The event fosters community connection during the festive season, inviting families to see the Library as a vibrant hub for arts and culture.
